Welcome to the planet Mars. A struggling Earth colony under siege by strange unknown forces. The remains of an ancient civilization discovered. Martian ghosts in the machines. A super computer named POE out of control. A prophecy coming to pass. And the Red Death, no longer fiction, is real.

“Masque of the Red Planet” is an original adventure story by artist/teacher Bill Fountain designed for the Middle and High School readers as well as adults. It features the Edgar Allan Poe short story “Masque of the Red Death” and some astounding Science Faction (alongside the Science Fiction!). Currently being developed as a novel, a graphic novel, a game and feature film.
