the third lost film by Bill Fountain

A Macabre Fable told in Dance

Where does Love go when it dies?

The Kingdom of the Sun entrenched in final battle with the Kingdom of the Night

The one who holds the key to ultimate victory

A Sleepwalker at last awake and aware

Can one who sees the future change it?

“Requiem” the third in a series of lost films, is currently in pre production. This is a short 15 minute digital film to be used in film festivals and public screenings. When all of the lost films are completed and put together, they interlock and form a feature length narrative story, yet each lost film is a completed work with its own story, character and unique approach to the material.

"Requiem" is slated to begin production in the Summer of 2005.

The lost films seek to build a new mythology; a culturally diverse and multifaceted fable told in eight parts.

The first lost film “Lament” is told using the Argentinean Tango as its movement and expression.

The second lost film “Queen of the Night” has an Arabic attitude and features traditional belly dancing, Bhangra and Bollywood sensibility, as well as modern  Lebanese, Egyptian, Moroccan, and Algerian  influenced dance moves and music.

The third lost film "Requiem" features Haitian and Asian influenced dance and music.
